1. Dot Matrix Module Solution
The earliest design scheme was developed from indoor pseudo-color dot-matrix screens.
Advantages: The cost of raw materials has the most advantages, and the production and processing technology is simple, and the quality is stable.
Disadvantages: Poor color consistency, severe mosaic phenomenon, and poor display effect.
2. Single light solution
In order to solve the dot-matrix screen color problem, a solution based on outdoor display technology was borrowed, and outdoor pixel multiplexing technology (also called pixel sharing technology, virtual pixel technology) was transplanted to indoor display.
Advantage: The color consistency is better than the dot matrix module method.
Disadvantages: The color mixing effect is not good, the viewing angle is not large, and the color difference is left and right when viewed horizontally. The processing is more complicated and the requirements of antistatic are high. The actual pixel resolution is difficult to achieve above 10,000 points.
3. Patch scheme solution
A scheme using a patch LED as a display element.
Advantages: The important display indicators such as color consistency and viewing angle are the best of the existing solutions, especially the color mixing effect of three-in-one surface stickers is very good.
Disadvantages: The processing technology is cumbersome and the cost is too high.
4. Sub-Surface Solution
It is actually an improvement of the single-light solution, and it is still being improved.
Advantages: The primary indicators and labeling schemes, such as display color consistency, viewing angle, are not much different, but the cost is lower, the display effect is very good, and the resolution can theoretically be more than 17,200.
Disadvantages: The processing is still more complicated, and the antistatic requirements are high.
Compared with other large-screen terminal displays, LED displays have the following characteristics:
1. High brightness: The brightness of outdoor LED display is greater than 8000mcd / m2, which is currently the only large-scale display terminal that can be used in all weather outdoors; the brightness of indoor LED display is greater than 2000md / m2.
2, long life: LED life up to 100,000 hours (ten years), this parameter generally refers to the design life, the brightness is also considered dark;
3. Large viewing angle: indoor viewing angle can be greater than 160 degrees, and outdoor viewing angle can be greater than 120 degrees. The size of the viewing angle depends on the shape of the LED light emitting diode.
4, the screen area can be large or small, as small as less than one square meter, as large as several hundred, thousands of square meters;
5. Easy to interface with computer and support rich software.
