In 2021, the display panel shipments of the mainland panel factory will increase significantly from 60.5 million to 91.4 million, with an annual growth rate of 51%. Omdia predicts that in 2021, the market share of mainland display panel shipments will exceed 50%, reaching 53%. Among them, Huaxing Optoelectronics and Huike have the largest growth in shipments. Huaxing Optoelectronics will use the acquired Samsung Suzhou 8.5-generation plant to produce display panels, while Huike plans to increase display panel production at the new Mianyang 8.6-generation plant.
