China's smartphone market shipments were 97.8 million in the third quarter of 2019, down 3 per cent on a year-on-year basis, according to the latest release of canalys, a technology market research firm, on october 30. With a year-on-year growth of 66%, Apple, Xiaomi, ooppo, and Ao have fallen sharply.
Among them, Huawei shipments grew by 66% year-on-year, reaching 41.5 million, with a market share of 42.4%, ranking the first. The two to five o 'o, ooppo, millet and apple, respectively, were 17.5 million,17 million, 8.8 million, and 5.1 million, respectively, which fell by 22%,20%,33%, and 28% on a year-on-year basis.
The data on canalys also showed that the head-up effect of the Chinese smartphone market was further strengthened, with a total market share of 8 per cent for mobile-phone screens outside of the company, and further down from 11.3 per cent in the same period in 2018.
