LED Backlight Products Continue To Emerge, Market Share Continues To Increase

The first is energy-saving, cold cathode lamp photoelectric efficiency in the 60lm/W around, and the current commercial LED efficiency has reached twice times this value, in the laboratory samples can be doubled. Secondly, the LED will bring about a huge change in the mechanical structure design of the backlight.


Because the LED volume is small and the light direction is good, can greatly reduce the traditional backlight light guide plate thickness. In addition, mercury in cold cathode lamps is a substance that has high recovery costs and is very harmful to the environment. From the environmental protection point of view, LED gradually replace the cold cathode lamp will also be an inevitable result. The application of LEDS may bring disruptive changes to the backlight.
